Since 1988, Garden City
Dr. Dailey opened this practice in 1988. Dr. Woods spent 20 years beside him, then took it over instead of starting something new.
We still run our own in-house denture lab, the way Dr. Dailey set it up. Impressions are taken, dentures are cast, and most patients walk out with a fit denture the same day, with free adjustments for 60 days if you need them.
Our story
Three doctors, one lab, one address
Dr. William Dailey opened Garden City Dental Center in November 1988, on Augusta Road just outside historic Savannah. He built the practice around an in-house lab, so patients who needed dentures didn't have to wait on a mail-order case to come back from somewhere else.
Dr. Steven Woods joined the practice and worked alongside Dr. Dailey for more than 20 years before taking over as owner. He didn't rename the office or start a new one down the street. He kept the same lab, the same address, and the same promise that a denture can be fitted and adjusted the same day it's made.
Dr. Myra Compton Simpson also treats patients at the practice today, alongside Dr. Woods.
A dentist who never stopped learning. Beyond dental school, Dr. Woods completed a year of general practice residency with the U.S. Army and hundreds of hours of additional training, and holds a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD), so the care he gives reflects current methods, not decades-old habits.
Dentures in a Day
Three ways to fit your budget, all made in our own lab
Every tier is fabricated on site and fitted the same visit. The difference between tiers is warranty length and how natural the teeth look, not how the process works.
Economy
1 year warranty
Our most affordable full or partial denture, built in-house and fitted the same day.
Not available for first-time denture wearers.
Custom
2 year warranty
A step up in fit and tooth quality, with twice the warranty coverage of Economy.
Deluxe / Ultimate
Lifetime warranty
Our most natural-looking denture, with the best quality teeth we offer and warranty coverage for as long as you own it.
Partial dentures carry a 60-day warranty. See the full spec table and every price.
Services
Two kinds of visits: keeping teeth healthy, and fixing what's already gone wrong
Dental health
Catch small problems early so they never turn into a bigger, more expensive visit. We do composite (tooth-colored) fillings, bonding, sealants, and non-surgical gum treatment for early gum disease.
Our digital X-rays use 50 to 70 percent less radiation than old-style film, and the image is on screen instantly.
See dental health servicesAdvanced procedures
When a tooth is badly infected, broken, or missing, we can save it or replace it. We offer root canal treatment, crowns in porcelain-over-gold, all-ceramic, or gold, bridges, and full and partial dentures.
A root canal saves the tooth you have instead of pulling it, and today it feels about like getting a filling.

Questions patients ask
A few things patients want to know
What's the difference between a crown and a cap?
Nothing. A crown and a cap are the same restoration, just two names for it. It covers a cracked or heavily filled tooth so you can bite and chew normally again.
Do I need a root canal just because I need a crown?
No. A crown covers and protects a tooth. A root canal treats infection inside the tooth. Plenty of crowns go on teeth that never needed a root canal at all.
What's the difference between a bridge and a partial denture?
A bridge is fixed in your mouth permanently, anchored to the teeth on either side of the gap. A partial denture is removable, so you take it out to clean it.
